Lincoln County Weekly Arrest Log
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office posts no 72-hour, seven-day, or other multi-day blotter. Its LCSO page names no archive depth. It lists no roll-off rule, update schedule, photo policy, or weekend posting plan. A statewide directory is not a substitute for the county's own log.
A multi-day search is not the same as a same-day custody check. It asks a broader question. Did an arrest happen anywhere in a date span, and what record survived it? Someone booked on a Tuesday might now be free. They might sit in a contract jail, or be in IDOC custody, or appear only in an unsealed court file. One roster could never cover all of those stages. That holds even if the county added one someday.

Skip the unofficial lists. Work backward from what you already know. A date range matters most, since Lincoln County's request form accepts either dates or a case number. Exact name spelling plus a birth date helps separate people who share a name.
- Set the arrest-date range and note whether it crosses a weekend or holiday.
- Ask LCSO at 208-886-2250 whether it created the booking record and which facility held the person.
- Send the county records form for a booking sheet, releasable photo, or related report.
- Search Idaho MyCourt for an unsealed case that continued after booking.
- For older records no longer held online, ask the records custodian about retention and any lawful transfer to archives.
Is the question a fresh arrest and current custody? Then the Daily Arrest Report is the better route. A weekly search should never lean on a jail roster alone. Release can pull someone out of a custody view. The booking and court record live on.
Note: Ask each custodian which date its record reflects, because arrest, booking, story publication, and court filing can each land on a different day.
Lincoln County Log Entry Fields
No live Lincoln entry exists online to inventory. The table below lists the facts a booking record may hold and the office best placed to verify each one. Public-records review still governs what gets disclosed.
| Record item | Where to verify |
|---|---|
| Name, aliases, birth date | LCSO booking record |
| Arrest and booking dates | LCSO or the confirmed custodial jail |
| Arresting agency and place | Booking sheet or incident record |
| Charges as booked | Booking record, then compare with court |
| Bond, hold, or detainer | Current jail and court |
| Booking photograph | Records request; no online display confirmed |
| Release or transfer | Custodian record and participating VINE result |
| Final disposition | Unsealed court case, not the booking log |
Idaho Code §20-601 requires fingerprints and a photograph as part of full booking. That promise does not put every image into a weekly online log. A records request can end in release, redaction, withholding, or a request for more detail.
Weekend Lincoln Arrest Searches
No Lincoln County source says Friday arrests surface on Monday. Nothing says holiday bookings wait in a batch. Nothing claims uploads happen on a fixed clock. A plausible administrative pattern is not a local fact. If custody is urgent, call the sheriff or the confirmed jail directly.
A wider date range still earns its keep. When requesting a record, span the evening before the expected arrest through the next business day. That covers the gap between street arrest, jail intake, and court filing without pretending Lincoln follows a known delay.
Older entries need one more question. Do the booking, incident, photo, court, and release materials sit in separate retention series? Different agencies keep them for different functions, so treat them as distinct files.
Regional News Is Not a Log
KMVT's regional crime section covers selected South-Central Idaho events and has reported on Shoshone and Lincoln County matters. The coverage is editorial and story-driven. It logs every county booking nowhere, keeps no fixed weekly window, and handles photographs without consistency.

A news page can surface a notable incident. The sheriff and the court still own the official record.
A story may run days after the arrest. It may quote a probable-cause document, skip the subject's photo, or change after a later hearing. Publication date is not booking date. A story also says nothing certain about current custody. Use it for context, then verify each material fact.
Mugshots.com carries a Lincoln County, Idaho path, but it is unofficial, possibly stale or incomplete, and never the official arrest log. RecentlyBooked, Arrests.org, Busted Newspaper, Mugshots.zone, and Idaho Blotter show no reliable local Lincoln County section. Their statewide or generic pages do not fill the gap.
Lincoln Arrest Cases After Booking
Booking and court move on separate clocks. Lincoln County District Court sits in Idaho's Fifth Judicial District. Its county page points to MyCourt. Once a case is filed, it may be unsealed. The court record can then outlast any short booking view. It may show later charge language, hearings, and the case's end. The MyCourt portal is the official path to those records.

This capture represents the case stage, not proof that a person is now jailed.
| Source date | What it means |
|---|---|
| Arrest date | When law enforcement took the person into custody |
| Booking date | When intake created the jail record |
| Filing date | When the court case entered its public timeline |
| News date | When an editor published a selected report |
| Disposition date | When the court resolved or changed the case |
A booking record in Lincoln County lists the charges filed at the time of an arrest. Those counts can change as a case moves through court.
Archive Lincoln County Arrest Records
Idaho Code §31-871 and county retention resolutions govern how Lincoln County handles its arrest records. The state law-enforcement schedule offers wider guidance. The county custodian still has work to do. That official must pin down the actual series and disposition for any requested booking, incident report, or photograph. And when something vanishes online, that alone does not prove it was deleted.
LCSO's public-records form is the right starting point. Describe the subject, the date range, a case number, and the exact items you want. Requests route to sheriffe-file@lincolncountyid.gov, fax 208-886-2851, or 115 W A St., Shoshone, ID 83352. The form promises notice if a request cannot be finished within three days. Fees follow actual work and media under Idaho public-records law. No special Lincoln County booking-photo price was published.
What if LCSO no longer holds the arrest material? Ask whether it was lawfully destroyed or sent elsewhere. The Idaho State Archives Records Center becomes an option later. It applies only after the county identifies the record series involved.

A second custodian may exist for old Lincoln County arrest files. No single archive holds every booking. The state records center is one possible destination.
Note: Retention and public access are separate questions, and an arrest record may still exist while exempt, sealed, redacted, or stored offline.
